Metro Line 12

Mairie d'Aubervilliers

Mairie d'Issy

Line 12 of the metro connects the municipalities of Aubervilliers and Issy-les-Moulineaux. It serves Saint-Denis and several districts of Paris. It was first put into service in 1910 and was named Line 12 in 1930. It was one of the first metro lines to serve the suburbs of Paris. Today, it allows you to travel from Mairie d'Issy to Mairie d'Aubervilliers in about 40 minutes, thanks to the extension in 2022 from the Front Populaire station. The 31 stations of Line 12 serve famous places such as Montmartre, Pigalle, the National Assembly, the Musée d'Orsay, the Place de la Concorde, and the Paris Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center... All these sites are accessible thanks to the Paris metro!

Visit the Goutte d'Or neighborhood, the Madeleine church, or easily reach Gare Montparnasse in just a few minutes using Line 12. Between Gare Saint-Lazare and Porte de Versailles, there are numerous connections: 8 metro lines, RER C and E, Transilien J, L, and N lines, as well as T2 and T3a lines.

Did you know? The Montparnasse - Bienvenüe station is named after the creator of the Paris metro, Fulgence Bienvenüe.
