Discover the famous Parisian landmarks by taking Line 6! Indeed, half of the route is above ground and offers exceptional views of the capital, including the Eiffel Tower. The Line 6 of the metro connects the Charles de Gaulle - Étoile station to Nation, which is also the terminus of Line 2, forming a loop within Paris. It was first put into service in 1909, with the initial section Étoile - Trocadéro opening in 1900. It has been operating on its current route since 1942. The Trocadéro, the Bir-Hakeim station for visiting the Eiffel Tower and the Champ de Mars, the Montparnasse Tower, the catacombs of Paris, Bercy, and the Place de la Nation are some of the places you can visit by getting off at one of the 28 stations on the line.
There are numerous connections with 11 metro lines, the RER A and B, and the OrlyBus shuttles. The Montparnasse train station is accessible by getting off at the station of the same name, via the Transilien N line.
Did you know? Line 6 was featured in the movie Peur sur la ville, where Jean-Paul Belmondo, playing the role of Commissioner Letellier, takes the journey between Montparnasse - Bienvenüe and Passy on the roof of the metro car.

From Sunday to Thursday, the last metro train arrives at the terminus at around 1:15 am. On Fridays, Saturdays, and the eve of holidays, the last metro train arrives no later than 2:15 am.

Have you lost an item? RATP offers you the possibility to report its loss in order to find it.

In both cases, you are asked to describe the lost item (type, color, brand) and provide your contact information. If the item is found, you will be notified by SMS or email, depending on the contact method you have declared.
