Bus Maps

To get around all the neighborhoods of Paris or the suburbs and find the nearest bus stops, consult the Paris bus map. The first Parisian buses appeared in the 1900s, giving rise to a very large network composed today of nearly 350 bus lines, including 61 within Paris city limits, and 48 Noctilien lines.

The extent of the bus network

The entire city of Paris and the inner suburbs are served by the regular bus network managed by RATP. At night, the Noctilien network takes over, crossing Paris and connecting the four corners of the suburbs.

Roissybus and Orlybus make it easy to reach the airports of Paris. A large part of the other bus lines intersect at the main interchange hubs in Paris and then extend to the nearby suburbs. With the Paris bus map, discover the routes and transfer stops to move around easily.

A network that is evolving

The bus network is constantly evolving. In 2019, the Grand Paris des Bus project restructured the network for better service throughout the region. The ongoing project is called "plan bus 2025". Its objective is to reduce the ecological impact of transportation in Île-de-France. By 2025, all RATP bus depots will be transformed to accommodate electric or biomethane buses, which are more environmentally friendly.
