In order to improve accessibility, the T8 tram line was designed to serve the University of Villetaneuse, the only one in Île-de-France that cannot be reached by any other means than by bus. The project, initiated in 1999, was completed in 2014 with the opening of the line.
The T8 line has two terminus stations, starting from Saint-Denis - Porte de Paris, you can reach Villetaneuse Université and Épinay-Orgemont. It serves 3 municipalities: Saint-Denis, Villetaneuse, and Épinay-Orgemont.
The T8 tram line has 17 stops and is located in zone 3. Saint-Denis Porte de Paris is accessible by metro on line 13. At Saint-Denis station, you can connect to the RER D, Transilien H, and tram T1.
Connections with the T11 tram line can be made at the University of Villetaneuse and Épinay-sur-Seine station, which also provides access to the RER C. The Rose Bertin stop serves the Îlo Shopping Center.
