I am a victim or witness of sexist or sexual violence
If you are a victim or witness of of sexist or sexual violence, you can:
- Immediately approach a staff member present at the station.
- Contact a staff member via the call points available in public areas.
- Call 3117. This phone number, shared by RATP and SNCF, has been set up to report any situation that poses a risk to your safety or the safety of other passengers.
- Send an SMS via 31177.
You also have the option to make an online report by filling out a form regarding:
- Sexist or sexual assault on a bus or tram
- Sexist or sexual assault on the metro or RER
Finally, the "Alerte 3117" application (available on iPhone and Android) offers the same features as the phone numbers and SMS. Not only does it allow for precise geolocation (if accepted) to speed up emergency response, but it also discreetly alerts without putting you in danger.
To combat sexual harassment in public transportation, certain establishments on our regional network are partnering with UMAY, the free and supportive mobile application that allows harassed passengers to be welcomed in "safe places".
