Are you traveling from Gare de l'Est or Gare du Nord? Take the Paris metro to reach the Puces de Saint-Ouen! Line 4 connects Porte de Clignancourt to Bagneux - Lucie Aubrac. This line has the particularity of allowing connections with all other metro lines. For example, you can reach the famous stations of Les Halles and Châtelet. Other connections are available with RER A, B, D, and E, Transilien lines H, K, N, and P, OrlyBus shuttle, as well as tram lines T3a and T3b.
The original route, dating back to 1908, was extended for the first time in 2013, and again in early 2022, now reaching the town of Bagneux. This line is partially automated and will eventually be fully automated. Line 4 runs on rubber tires and its route is entirely underground, serving 29 stations in 3 municipalities, with an average journey time of 40 minutes from terminal to terminal.
Did you know? Line 4 was the first metro line to connect the right bank of the Seine to the left bank underground.
