Bus line 24 is operated by RATP. It connects Panthéon, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, to the École vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort, passing through Charenton-le-Pont (fare zones 1, 2, and 3). Bus line 24 is an excellent way to reach the southern suburbs of Paris while enjoying numerous connections on its route with metro lines 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, and 14, RER lines A, B, C, and D, tramway T3a, and Transilien line R. How much does a bus ticket cost in Paris and Île de France?
To travel by bus, you can use a wide range of transport tickets, including the Navigo pass. Individually, the Bus-Tram ticket, which allows you to make a bus journey, costs €2,05 (the t+ ticket has not been sold since 01/01/2025).
How to pay for your bus trip by SMS?
Don't have a ticket or change? You can take the bus! When you see your bus approaching, send Bus + your line number to the short number 93100. You will then receive an SMS that will serve as your ticket. For example, send Bus29 to 93100 if you take Bus 29. Then, show the SMS ticket to the driver on your phone screen when you board. The SMS ticket is only valid for an immediate trip on the bus without any transfers. The validity period is 1 hour from the time the SMS is sent (the duration is indicated in the SMS you will receive). Cost: 2.55 € excluding the cost of the SMS for phone subscriptions that do not include unlimited SMS.
How much does a Noctilien trip cost?
You can travel on the Noctilien network with Navigo, imagine R, Mobilis, and Paris Visite passes. You can also take Noctiliens with Bus-Tram tickets or on-board access tickets. If you use Bus-Tram tickets, please note that you need to validate 1 Bus-Tram ticket for 2-digit lines and line N135, and validate 2 Bus-Tram tickets for all other lines.

Have you lost an item? RATP offers you the possibility to report your loss in order to find it.
- Either online, directly on the website ratp.franceobjetstrouves.fr
- Or with an agent from the metro, bus, RER or tramway network.
In both cases, you will be asked to describe the lost item (type, color, brand) and provide your contact details. If the item is found, you will be notified by SMS or email, depending on the contact method you have declared.
Coming soon: you will be able to have the found item delivered to you (paid shipping service at your expense, subject to the eligibility criteria of the item for handling by the carrier Chronopost, in accordance with the general shipping conditions)
