A particular configuration

Have you noticed the difference in level of a few meters between the platforms of lines 2 and 3? Like in most stations, the transfer platforms are parallel. But Villiers station is not like the others: its platforms are not located at the same depth. The platform of line 3 had to be lowered for the tracks to pass under line 2. This is also why the vaults are much higher on line 3.
