An original metro entrance

If you are looking for the Sentier metro station, take a look at the buildings on Rue Réaumur. Here, one of the two entrances to the metro is different from the usual Parisian style. It is located in a beautiful building in the neighborhood. This type of metro entrance, very rare in Paris, is inspired by the London Underground. And that's not all. This entrance to the Sentier metro station is also marked by an original sign dating back to the 1930s: a red M, surrounded by blue and crossed in the center with the word 'métro' on a blue background. It is the only sign of this model that you will find in Paris. The second entrance to the Sentier station is a beautifully sculpted Guimard-style balustrade: much more classic, but just as beautiful!
