Step-by-step guide: locate and book a bike

Step 1: download the Bonjour RATP app and enable geolocation

Open the app on your smartphone (iOS or Android). Allow access to your geographic location: this step is essential to instantly display the bikes closest to you.

Step 2: display the bike map

On the home screen, click on the interactive map. It shows all bikes available nearby. Click on a bike icon to display its details: partner brand and battery charge level.

Step 3: unlock your bike

For self-service bikes (Dott, Lime, Voi)

  • After selecting your bike, click on "Scan to unlock" and scan the QR code located on the handlebar or the rear mudguard.
  • Start your trip with ease. Payment is charged automatically to your saved payment method.

For bikes in the Vélib' network (mechanical or electric)

  • Locate the station and available bikes on the map.
  • Click the "Access the Vélib' service" or "Subscribe to a Vélib' plan" button at the bottom of the screen to complete pickup via your Vélib' subscription or pass.
