As part of modernization works, the RER E line will be undergoing works in 2026 on several dates and sections. These closures have a direct impact on your travel: find the schedule and our advice in this article.
Key dates
⚠️ During the school holidays, from Saturday July 11 through Sunday August 23 inclusive, the transport service is adjusted across the entire line. Some trains will not be running.
🚫 Reduced service between Nanterre-la-Folie <> Villiers-sur-Marne and Nanterre-la-Folie <> Tournan
From Saturday July 11 to Sunday August 9
- One train out of two runs between Nanterre-la-Folie and Villiers-sur-Marne, all day long
- One train out of two runs between Nanterre-la-Folie and Tournan, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
🚫 Service suspended between Nanterre-la-Folie <> Chelles Gournay
Sunday August 23 from 9:45 PM
Saturdays August 8, 15, 22, 29, September 5 and Sundays August 30, September 6 from 10:45 PM
From Monday June 15 to Friday October 2 and from Thursday October 15 to Friday December 11 from 10:45 PM
Alternative route: A replacement bus service is in place, serving the intermediate stations.
