What is a transport zone?
The Francilien transport network is organized into 5 concentric zones around Paris. Depending on the zone you choose, you can enjoy unlimited travel to areas either close to or farther from the center of Paris.

Zone 1: Central Paris (Paris intra-muros), including landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower and the Pompidou Center.

Zone 2: The inner suburbs ("Petite Couronne"), with cities like Boulogne-Billancourt and its typical markets.

Zone 3: Nearby areas, including towns such as Saint-Denis and various cultural attractions.

Zone 4: The outer suburbs ("Grande Couronne"), perfect for visiting the Château de Versailles and other prestigious sites.

Zone 5: Covers other parts of the Île-de-France region, including Disneyland Paris, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport, and Orly Airport.

Travel tickets affected by the transport zones
3 categories of passes are affected by transport zones: the Navigo Week pass, the Navigo Month pass, and the Navigo Annual pass. The Navigo Day pass covers all zones.

Good to know: Navigo Month passes are valid for all zones on weekends, public holidays, during school holidays for zone C, and from mid-July to mid-August.
