A station for suburban trains

The first platform was created in 1851. It was then moved and expanded over the years to become the Argenteuil station, served by trains connecting Paris to nearby suburban cities. Today, Argenteuil station is exclusively a Transilien station, which serves the J line between Gare Saint-Lazare and its various termini. Don't confuse it with Gare du Val d'Argenteuil, which has a similar name and is also served by Transilien J, but is located about 3km away!
