Les franchises de bagages des compagnies aériennes autorisent généralement des valises de tailles et de poids standard :

Bagages cabines

• Poids : entre 8 et 10 kg
• Taille : h + l + L = 110 cm

Bagages en soute

• Poids : un bagage de 23 kg par personne en classe économique, deux bagages de 32 kg par personne en classe Affaires et jusqu’à trois bagages de 32 kg en Première Classe.
• Taille : h + l + L = 158 cm.

Notre conseil : Ces mesures sont indicatives. Chaque transporteur aérien fixe sa propre franchise de bagages en avion. À l’aéroport, les agents procéderont à un contrôle du poids des bagages et peuvent vérifier les dimensions de vos sacs et valises. Un bagage trop lourd entrainera un surcoût, et un bagage trop grand peut être refusé à l’enregistrement. Veillez donc à ce que vos valises et sacs de cabine et de soute respectent bien les normes.

Similarly, before packing your bags, it is essential to consult the regulations of all the countries you will be passing through to know which products are prohibited or regulated by local customs.

Good to know: If an item has been confiscated from you at the security checkpoint in Terminals 2E, 2F, or 3 of Roissy CDG Airport, a paid service allows you to retrieve it after your trip. You can make the request directly in the control zone.

There are a few rules to know when packing your bags. For example, for security reasons, every traveler is asked to pack their own bags and not to transport items packed by someone else.

It is also important to know that labeling baggage on airplanes is mandatory, both for checked baggage and carry-on baggage. Simply provide your name and contact information on each suitcase to allow for quicker identification in case of lost baggage.
