Navigo reimbursement 2026: compensation conditions for lines J and L New compensation campaign starting September 15, 2026

Given the scale and duration of the disruptions experienced by travelers on Transilien lines J and L from March to July 2026, a new reimbursement campaign will begin on September 15, 2026 and run until October 13, 2026 inclusive (application deadline).

Do you regularly use these lines? You may be affected. Here is how to find out if you are eligible, and how to submit your reimbursement request.

For this campaign, several sections of the following lines are affected:

• Bois Colombes ↔ Ermont Eaubonne
• Bois Colombes ↔ Mantes La Jolie (via Conflans)
• Houilles Carrières sur Seine ↔ Mantes La Jolie (via Poissy)

• Suresnes Mont Valérien ↔ Saint-Nom la Bretèche
• Suresnes Mont Valérien ↔ Versailles Rive Droite
• Houilles Carrières sur Seine ↔ Cergy le Haut

From March to July 2026, these two lines were indeed heavily disrupted due to:

• the immobilization of part of the rolling stock, following a rail defect that damaged the wheels of certain trains; this issue led to repeated train cancellations over several weeks, and line J was particularly affected between April 20 and the end of May
• trainsets usually assigned to line L that were mobilized to reinforce line J, reducing the number of trains available on line L, particularly between the end of April and the beginning of July
• the late June storm, which caused a complete suspension of service between Poissy and Les Mureaux from June 28 to July 5, heavily impacting the entire line J.

Are you a regular traveler? You may be eligible for reimbursement, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria.

You may be eligible if:

• you held a Navigo pass for at least 4 months from March to June 2026

Eligible passes
Navigo Annual Pass (including Senior fare)
Navigo Monthly Pass (including on Découverte pass and on Smartphone)
Navigo Monthly Pass 50% Discount and Monthly Solidarity 75%
Imagine R Pass (student and school)

• you live, work, or study in a municipality served by one of the affected sections
