Quiz Ticket Purchases: Find all the answers to our grand contest
From February 26th to March 11th, 2024, we organized a grand quiz about ticket purchases from the Bonjour RATP app to help you better use our service. The result: a success! Thousands of you participated! 01/15 Since when has it been possible to recharge transport tickets on a Passe Navigo from the Bonjour RATP app?
The option to recharge tickets on a Passe Navigo has been available in the Bonjour RATP app for over 3 years. It was first made available in November 2019 for compatible Android versions and was later opened in February 2021 for iOS.
02/15 Are all the tickets sold at stations available for purchase from the Bonjour RATP app?
You will find the majority of tickets available for purchase in the Bonjour RATP app, but not all tickets as some are not yet available for remote purchase. You can find the summary table of tickets that can be recharged remotely on a Passe Navigo or on your phone with the Bonjour RATP app here:
03/15 Can a mobile phone be used to validate a transport ticket?
Yes, if you have a compatible Android phone. This option is available for the majority of phones with NFC running on Android 8.0 or later, and will be available on iOS during the first half of 2024. Test the compatibility of your phone today by going to the "Tickets" section of the Bonjour RATP app.
04/15 From which date of the month is it possible to recharge a monthly Navigo pass for use in the following month via the Bonjour RATP app?
From the 20th of each month. It is possible to recharge a monthly Navigo pass from the 20th of each month via the Bonjour RATP app. An opportunity to avoid queues at the station 😉
05/15 Can carnet tickets t+ be purchased directly from the Bonjour RATP app?
Yes, you can purchase carnet tickets t+ from the Bonjour RATP app. The cardboard carnet tickets t+ are no longer available for sale on the network since September 21st, 2023, but they are available for remote purchase in digital format directly from the Bonjour RATP app.
06/15 How many carnet tickets t+ can you store on a Passe Navigo or a phone?
You can store up to 30 carnet tickets t+ on your Passe Navigo or phone.
07/15 Can Origin-Destination tickets be purchased from the Bonjour RATP app?
No, it is not yet possible to purchase digital Origin-Destination tickets. They will be available for remote purchase from the Bonjour RATP app in 2024. Origin-Destination tickets are tickets that allow you to travel: from Paris to the suburbs, or from one suburb to another.
08/15 Since when is it possible to validate tickets purchased from the Bonjour RATP app using a mobile phone?
For about 6 months, this option has been compatible with the majority of Android phones. It has been possible to purchase tickets and store them on your phone since September 2023. This option has been available since then for compatible Android phones with NFC service running on Android 8 or later. And it will be available in the first quarter of 2024 for iOS mobile phones.
09/15 Where can you test the compatibility of your mobile phone with the Ticket Purchase service of the Bonjour RATP app?
In the "Tickets" section of the Bonjour RATP app. Go to the "Tickets" section of the Bonjour RATP app to test the compatibility of your mobile phone with the Ticket Purchase service. Simply follow the step-by-step guide.
10/15 After purchasing a ticket from the Bonjour RATP app, how can you obtain a proof of purchase? By email, immediately after the purchase, or directly in the Bonjour RATP app (in the "Tickets" tab, then "My purchase history") if you were logged in at the time of purchase.
11/15 Can a single phone or a single Passe Navigo be used to validate tickets for multiple people and travel together on the network?
No, at the moment, it is not possible to validate multiple tickets for multiple people using the same phone or Passe Navigo to travel together on the network.
12/15 Is it possible to transfer purchased tickets from the Bonjour RATP app on a mobile phone to another mobile phone or a Passe Navigo?
Currently, it is not possible to transfer the tickets and passes already stored on a Passe Navigo to a phone, and vice versa. This option will be available in 2024.
###13/15 In case of ticket inspection during your travels, what is the amount of the fine if you don't have a valid ticket?
You must pay €50. In case of infractions on the network, you may be fined €50 in case of inspection. If you do not pay the fine immediately, the amount will increase to €80, which must be paid within a maximum of 20 days.
14/15 Does Bonjour RATP provide different payment methods to pay for ticket purchases from its app?
