Extension of T3B Tram Line: 7 Additional Stations
Good news! On April 5, 2024, the T3b tramway will connect Porte d'Asnières to Porte Dauphine in the northwest of Paris, with the opening of 7 new stations. We'll provide you with all the details about this extension!

7 Additional Tram Stops
With 7 additional tram stops over a distance of 3.2 kilometers, the extended T3b line will accommodate 7,600 passengers during peak hours in the morning, with a frequency of 4 minutes between each tram.
New Connections Available
The extension of T3b to Porte Dauphine also opens up new connections. You will now be able to take the following connections:
This new section will also provide access to numerous bus lines, as well as options for soft mobility (such as bike-sharing), improving door-to-door travel.
A major stop on this new section, Porte Maillot becomes a true transportation hub, allowing tens of thousands of people to travel to the western part of Paris using public transportation.
Good to know: Significant construction works for this extension
The extension of T3b to Porte Dauphine required significant urban restructuring, with two simultaneous construction projects:
- Filling in the 366-meter Henri-Gaillard tunnel to allow the tramway to operate on the surface.
- Structural reinforcement above the RER C, using a new bridging slab, to ensure that the RER galleries can support the future weight of the tramway.
