Traffic Restrictions on the weekend of August 3rd and 4th, 2024
As you know, traffic restriction zones have been implemented to ensure the safety of everyone during the Paris Games and to regulate movement around the competition venues for better crowd management. These zones will evolve daily based on the sporting events.
Good to know: These zones primarily restrict motorized vehicle movements, so we encourage you to prioritize alternative modes of transportation available in the Bonjour RATP app.
Visit the Bonjour RATP app every day to check the daily security zones and learn about associated traffic restrictions.
What impacts should be expected on public transportation?
Note : some of them are not linked to these competitions but to 2024 Paris games overallStations to Avoid due to Expected Crowds
Certain stations should be avoided due to expected crowds. This is the case, for example, at specific times, for several stops near Invalides such as Trocadéro (metro_9 and metro_6), Iéna (metro_9), Alma-Marceau (metro_9), and La Motte Picquet-Grenelle (metro_6, metro_8, and metro_10). If possible, it is recommended to use alternative nearby lines with less congestion.
