In order to carry out track renewal, traffic will be interrupted on Metro Line 5 between Bastille and Porte d'Italie stations from Tuesday, April 15 to Wednesday, April 23, 2025, inclusive. Establishment of a Construction Site at Quai de la Rapée

As part of the closure of the line between Bastille and Place d'Italie from April 15 to April 23, 2025, some temporary arrangements will be made around Quai de la Rapée station to ensure the safety of travelers and preserve the durability of the structures. RATP will do everything possible to minimize the inconveniences related to this work and apologizes in advance for the noise and disruption caused. However, this will not involve any changes to traffic for vehicles.

Modification of Traffic Within Austerlitz Station

Alongside the closure of the Bastille-Place d'Italie section in April 2025, the restructuring project of the Austerlitz station interchange continues and impacts Austerlitz Station.

  • The connecting corridors between the metro metro line 5 and metro metro line 10, the RER RER line C, or the SNCF station remain closed until 2027 at the latest.
  • The metro metro line 10 remains accessible directly from the usual entrances located on Boulevard de l’Hôpital.
