As you probably know, the prices of some public transportation tickets will be increased during the Paris 2024 Games, specifically between July 20, 2024, and September 8, 2024. Additionally, some tickets will not be available for sale during this period (such as the Navigo day pass and Navigo week pass). This temporary and exceptional situation can be anticipated.

Buy and stock up on tickets t+ before July 20, 2024.

You do not wish to purchase personalized tickets and plan to travel occasionally and only within Paris or by bus in Île-de-France during the Paris 2024 Games. In that case, simply stock up on t+ tickets before the price increase.

Up to 30 tickets in advance

You can purchase up to 30 t+ tickets in advance. They are available for purchase individually or in a pack of 10 through the Bonjour RATP app. You can choose to load them onto a Navigo Easy card (available for purchase at stations and train stations for €2) or store these tickets directly on your smartphone if it is compatible. In the latter case, you will use your smartphone to validate your journeys at the station.

Please note that you cannot validate multiple journeys at the same time with the same Navigo Easy card or smartphone. If you have friends or family planning to visit you during this period, share this article with them so they can also plan accordingly.

Other options for short-distance travel

If you are concerned about public transport being crowded during this period and prefer to use other modes of transportation for your short-distance trips, consider cycling, using a scooter, or simply walking.

Getting around by bike or scooter

In Île-de-France, there are thousands of kilometers of bike lanes! This is especially advantageous during disruptions, if you enjoy cycling or using a scooter, or if you want to give it a try.

To take advantage of this, it's easy! Download and open the Bonjour RATP app, where you can locate and reserve, with just a few clicks and without having to consult multiple apps, all the bikes and electric scooters from Dott, Lime, and TIER available around you! Plus, activate geolocation to enjoy the Bonjour GPS and let it guide you.

Opting for walking

Walking is the eco-friendly and healthy option for short distances! And it's free. Bonjour RATP will guide you through the streets of Paris and the Île-de-France region, wherever you are. Simply activate the geolocation feature in your app. Plus, Bonjour will also show you the number of kilometers traveled and CO2 saved.
