PSG - Newcastle at Parc des Princes: date and times
Paris Saint-Germain faces Newcastle United as part of the 8th matchday of the 2025-2026 Champions League on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 with kickoff at 9:00 pm at Parc des Princes in Paris (16th arrondissement).
This event attracts tens of thousands of supporters and can cause peak crowds on the public transport network, as well as in pedestrian areas around the stadium. All our recommendations for traveling smoothly are in this article.
Access and recommendations
Heavy crowds on the metro network
The following lines will be particularly busy:
: Porte de Saint-Cloud and Exelmans stations, main access points to the stadium
: Porte d'Auteuil station, a pedestrian alternative just a few minutes away
: peripheral routes around Parc des Princes, at the Porte de Saint-Cloud and Porte d'Auteuil stops (among others, lines 22, 32, 52, 62, 72, 88 and PC)
⚠️ Before and especially after the match, crowds on these lines may result in very busy platforms, longer waiting times at the gates, and slower connections than usual.
Soft mobility: bikes & scooters
The area has bike lanes, bicycle parking, and Vélib' stations, but they quickly fill up around match times. Planning an alternative parking spot nearby can save you time!
Heavy pedestrian flows around the stadium
During peak hours (6:30 pm–9:30 pm and immediately after the match), the pedestrian zones around Parc des Princes are very crowded, mainly:
- Boulevard Murat
- Avenue de la Porte de Saint-Cloud
- The pedestrian spaces between the stations and the stadium entrance
