Please note, the RER D operates across multiple branches that may serve different stops. Always check the train’s terminus. The RER D line runs in Paris and across Île-de-France, serving many major stations and metro hubs, such as Stade de France Saint-Denis, Gare du Nord, Châtelet Les Halles, Gare de Lyon, as well as the stations of Melun, Corbeil-Essonnes, Juvisy, and Viry-Châtillon. The D line also extends beyond the Île-de-France fare boundary, reaching the RER stations of Creil and Malesherbes.
RER trains run every day in Paris and Île-de-France from around 5:30 a.m. to about 1:20 a.m. For precise RER D departure times at your station, consult the real-time data or plan your journey in the Bonjour RATP app.

Live schedules not showing? Traffic may be interrupted for various reasons (strike, construction, incident, etc.).
Feel free to check Bonjour RATP traffic information. There you will find real-time reports of disruptions, as well as specific schedules for each line in case of strikes or construction. To stay updated daily, also consult the latest ongoing works on the RER network.
If traffic is interrupted, don’t worry: you can quickly calculate a new route using the Bonjour RATP app. It will show you the fastest journey by public transport, bike, or on foot.
Do the RER trains operate at night?
RER service is suspended at night, roughly between 1:20 AM and 5:30 AM. In exceptional cases, such as on Music Festival Day or New Year's Eve, some RER lines may run all night. Be sure to check in advance which lines are affected. Missed the last RER? At night, when RER and metro services have stopped, the Noctilien bus network takes over and serves all RER stations in Paris and its suburbs.
