The 3D Secure verification didn't work. What should I do?

If your bank requires verification during your payments, it means that your card uses the 3D Secure system. Depending on your bank's terms, this verification can be done in different ways (SMS, password, fingerprint ID touch, etc.).

Even if you are the rightful owner of the concerned credit card, several reasons can lead to a failure of 3D Secure:

  • You entered the wrong password.
  • You pressed the "Cancel" button or locked your mobile phone.
  • You took too long to authenticate and the procedure expired.
  • You did not receive an SMS from your bank.

If you accidentally ended the authentication, feel free to restart the procedure.

However, if the authentication failed due to missing information (forgotten password, non-received SMS), we recommend contacting your bank to ensure that your card does not encounter any payment issues.

You can also check your online bank account to verify that your credit card is activated and that your information is up to date (phone number, etc.).
