How am I insured if I use a Lime vehicle?
Lime vehicle users benefit from the insurance coverage described below, at no additional cost, through an insurance policy obtained by Lime from its insurer, Allianz. Reporting an accident does not necessarily mean it will be covered by insurance. Each accident is individually and thoroughly investigated.
User accident coverage
This coverage insures the user against bodily injuries that occur while driving a Lime vehicle, even if they are due to user error and not Lime's fault. The user is insured for the amounts listed in the table of this document, depending on the type and severity of the injury.
Liability insurance
This insurance covers the user for bodily injuries that occur while driving a Lime vehicle, even if they are due to the rider's error and not Lime's fault. The user is insured for the amounts listed in the table of this document, depending on the type and severity of the injury.
User liability coverage
It provides insurance coverage to a user for bodily injuries they cause to other people. Users are also insured for damages they cause to other people's property resulting from the use of a Lime vehicle.
