The Massy Palaiseau - Versailles Chantiers branch of the RER C becomes the Transilien Line V 7 stations will be served by this line
Starting from December 15, 2024, Transilien Line V, or simply Line V, will connect the multimodal hub of Massy - Palaiseau station to that of Versailles-Chantiers station, replacing the RER C. For travelers accustomed to using this branch of the RER C, there will be no changes or almost none, apart from the name and, most importantly, new benefits. We tell you everything!

You will still be able to catch your train on the same platforms (Platform 1 at Massy and Platform J at Versailles) and validate with the same ticket.

Transilien Line V in a few figures
A service more suited to the needs of travelers:
- A journey of 20 minutes between Massy Palaiseau and Versailles Chantiers,
- Journeys that will no longer be affected by operational incidents impacting the RER C.
- 1 train every 15 minutes during peak hours compared to one every 30 minutes today (from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM and from 4:30 PM to 10:15 PM),
- 1 additional train in the evening, at Versailles Chantiers, at 11:15 PM,
- First train at 5:15 AM in the morning at Versailles Chantiers and at 6:00 AM at Massy Palaiseau,
- A new connection with the tram-train T12, which links Massy to Évry-Courcouronnes on line B at Massy Palaiseau station,
- Bicycles are allowed on the train all day long.
