Paris 2024: All the information to enjoy the Marathon for Everyone on August 10, 2024 Routes - Open and closed metro stations

For the first time in the history of the Games, athletes will be able to relive the emotions of the selected marathon runners for the Paris 2024 Games just a few hours before the official events.

All the necessary conditions have been put in place to make it an exceptional event for the participants, as well as for the spectators. The event will take place in the evening, on the same route and day as the men's Olympic race. There will be entertainment at every kilometer and the presence of numerous athletes and personalities who have come to experience the event alongside the participants. Among the personalities who will be present are Amélie Mauresmo, Martin Fourcade, Camille Lacourt, Sarah Ourahmoune, and many others.

The marathon starting at 9:00 PM

Open to everyone from the age of 20, this evening marathon will start from the City Hall square and finish at the Esplanade des Invalides. The route will pass through 9 municipalities in the Île-de-France region.

• Start at 9:00 PM at the City Hall of Paris
• Finish at the Invalides
• 9 municipalities crossed: Paris – Boulogne-Billancourt, Sèvres, Ville d’Avray, Versailles, Viroflay, Chaville, Meudon, Issy-les-Moulineaux
• Over 20,000 participants

Key sites and landmarks along the route: Paris City Hall, Bourse de commerce, Palais Brongniart, Opéra Garnier, Place Vendôme, Jardin des Tuileries, Louvre Pyramid, Place de la Concorde, Bridges of Paris (Pont de l’Alma, Alexandre III, Iéna), Grand Palais, Palais de Tokyo, Jardins du Trocadéro, Maison de la Radio, Manufacture and Musées nationaux de Sèvres, Forêt domaniale des Fausses-Reposes, Monuments Pershing - Lafayette, Château de Versailles, Forêt domaniale de Meudon, Parc André Citroën, Eiffel Tower, Musée Rodin, Esplanade des Invalides.

The 10km: a race entirely within Paris starting at 11:30 PM

Another 10km race, also open to everyone, will start parallelly at 11:30 PM from the City Hall and finish at the Invalides, just like the marathon.
